Service Technician

About the Role

At Hansen’s Pool & Spa, our Service Technicians play a critical role in supporting customers after the sale. This position focuses on servicing and maintaining pools, hot tubs, and related equipment to ensure customers continue enjoying their investment for years to come.

You do not need prior industry experience. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, an interest in fixing things, and a willingness to learn. We will train the right candidate.

Schedule & Hours

This is a full-time, year-round position with seasonal hour fluctuations:

  • Peak Season (May–October): Anticipated 40–50 hours per week

  • Off-Season (November–April): Average 30 hours per week, depending on demand

  • Monday–Friday schedule with occasional flexibility during peak season.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair pool and hot tub equipment

  • Perform maintenance and service calls at customer homes

  • Install and replace parts as needed

  • Educate customers on proper care and operation

  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding service findings

  • Document work completed and maintain service records

  • Work collaboratively with the retail and installation teams

  • Represent the company professionally on every job site

Who You Are

  • Mechanically inclined with a natural curiosity for how things work

  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

  • Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset

  • Reliable and team-oriented

  • Organized and detail-focused

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Experience in mechanical repair, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, automotive repair, or general construction is helpful but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
